and seeing this...
When I read that Amy wanted to do a Simple Sampler Quilt Along, I was excited because I'd never done anything like it before. I am relatively new to quilting and the quilt blog world but I thought it would be a great way to practice the basics and learn some new tricks! Unfortunately for me, she started it the day after we got home from our two week vacation Oregon and I had tons of laundry to catch up with and then we had visitors stay with us for a week. So I got a little behind! With the exception of the log cabin block ( I didn't like it so I ripped it apart last night) I'm all caught up. So without further ado, here are all the blocks!
They look awesome! The bright colors are so fun!
ReplyDeleteoh wow, your blocks are so great looking.
ReplyDeleteWell, I think I would rather be where you were last Sunday than on the internet! Your blocks look great! What kind of fabric is that. I figure it's cotton (batiks?), but the blue in the snowball variation just looks so silky!
ReplyDeleteYikes! I don't blame you; would rather have been where you were! Your blocks are AWESOME! Where are you, coming over to play with your batiks!

I love the batiks. They are so pretty!
ReplyDeleteLove your blocks. I agree that the fabric is beautiful and works so well in the blocks.
ReplyDeleteI love batiks! I'm so intrigued by them in the store and have been wanting to use them in a quilt. This sealed it for me! They are so colorful and fun :)
ReplyDeleteLooks like a great vacation!
Your blocks looks almost as good as your vacation pictures! One has to prioritize! Vacation first anytime!
