It'a about time!

This beauty is finally done and off to it's new home.  I'll admit that it took way longer that it should have.  I started this baby quilt in 2010 and shared the finished quilt top in this post from Oct. 2010. (The other one is still in the WIP pile.)  This is one of the first quilt tops I ever made and the fabric is probably one of the first quality quilting fabric I bought.  I believe that I was loosely following a tutorial from Natalia over at Piece N Quilt.
Front and Back
I gift this quilt to a co-worker of my husband.  He and his wife are expecting their first baby any day now.  Because we are military families I thought it would be appropriate to include where we live now, so that in the future when we have all moved on to other places they will be able to remember where it came from.  I also used on of my labels from my Sweetwater Label Crew subscription.

    1. I think that no matter how long something takes to finish, it will always feel good when its done. I'm happy that it's out in the world for someone else to enjoy!
